Thank you, I know i will be happy doing both, Im actually planing on eventually becoming a RN but wanted the hours of a LVN while my daughter is young. and also would any body know if a Associate RN is any less than a BSN.

Hello, I'm starting Nursing School soon, I want to know if it is true that they are trying to do away with LVNs. Every time i look at the classified adds,they sometimes the have LVNs or Medical assistance apply. I don't feel that Medical assistants have the same education as a LVN to be able to the same job.Also tons of people tell me that the job market is bad that RN are willing to take LVN jobs. Im not sure if they are saying that to discourage me from going to school to be a LVN or just to be mean .. Im 28 and it has taken me a long time to go to school but now with help from my awesome uncle, family, and God I'm going back, and want to get a LVN certification. Please post your opinions or anything that might help me Thank you B
