  1. I currently attend a private college in Michigan and the way the ADN program is ran it will take almost 4 yrs for me to graduate with an associates. So I was looking into transferring to USM's BSN program instead. I graduated in MS but relocated to MI to be closer to my mother. My question is how does USM go about choosing their BSN students? Do they go by GPS, ACT's, or another point system. The classes & grades I've gotten so far are: ENG 101 COMPOSITION I 4 A- 14.8 PSY 111 GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY 4 A- 14.8 SCI 101C HUMAN ANAT & PHYS I 5 A- 18.5 WINTER 2010 ENG 102 COMPOSITION II 4 A 16.0 MTH 111 INTRODUCTORY ALGEBRA 4 C 8.0 SCI 102C HUMAN ANAT & PHYS II 5 B 15.0 SPRING 2010 INF 121 INTRO TO WINDOWS 2 A 8.0 SCI 220A MICROBIOLOGY 5 A- 18.5 SPK 201 ORAL COMMUNICATION 4 A- 14.8 WPG 098 KEYBOARDING 4 A 16.0 SUMMER 2010 HSC 103 HUMAN BODY-HOLISTIC 4 B- 10.8 INF 112 WORD PROCESSING 2 A 8.0 I am currently taking pathophysiology, nursing pharmacology, and retaking algebra (have to hve a B- or better so I had to retake). This is my last semester of prereqs for my school but if I am accepted into the program I will not graduate until June of 2013. They make the program long & drawn out. They go by a complicated point system to accept students into the program. They wont give students any information on how the point system works but I do know we have to take the Kaplan and that determines a lot on whether we are accepted & also science classes count double towards being accepted. I know its very complicated!
