  1. Thank YOU!!! Just call and say, Hi I am calling to inquire about the status of my application. Then they will say okay. Then say, I can give you my social security number. Once you give it you will get this response ''OH oKAYYYYYY, so you took your exam already, why are you calling" then say, I have a job pending and they wanted me to call and see what the status was or approx when I can expect to hear anything. Then say, I tried the trick and its a good message so far. See what their reaction is or if they will hint at anything. If not, just be patient and wait. I know how super super hard it is considering i called them everyday. After seeing my name on BRN , about a week later, I received the official certificate in the mail stating RN (comes in a while large envelope). Then a few weeks later you get the card. Hope it helps! I took mine 5/1 and heard news on 5/14 so it really takes some people 2 weeks. You will hear SOMETHING TOMORROW!!!!!!!
  2. Xane12 yayyy! That's great news! I'm glad I could help! You will have a license # real soon! The BRN said that sometimes people get issued a number quicker than others but as long u have an open status pending and you are getting a good pop up you are safe! Early congrats RN!!!!! ?
  3. At Xane12, the only thing breeze will tell u is if an application is pending. I heard if u fail, it deletes your application from breeze. But if they are is issuing u a license it will say pending/open status. If u r checking n nothing shows clock add license and our ur info, it may link it to ur application. Just keep calling BRN everyday, that's what I did... Goodluck!!
  4. At Xane12: I checked the BRN ca on wed May 14 and my license has posted. I originally took my test on May 5. when I spoke to BRN they said pvt is accurate and correct 100% of the time, so if u are still getting the good pop up don't worry!
  5. Ya as long as you understand the core of the questions you will do fine. I hope you passed! Let me know when you hear back please :)
  6. See that's what I am concerned about. I did check breeze and nothing pops up with my name. My friends also got results within 2 days as well. I called the BRN and they said we don't understand how that's possible, it takes atleast 7 days to process license #...when u logged into breeze did u see ur status as open or pending?? What do u think is this bad news? The guy said to relax and give them time but I don't get why mine is so behind.
  7. Hi guys I took my nclex rn on May 5. I had 75 q's and a lot of sata. I continue to get the good pop up on Pearson and on the CA breeze account, it says pending results (status open). I'm confused whyine is taking so long when people after me already have their lic #. Do you think this is a bad sign?
  8. What about trainer 5-7!?
  9. @food4thght then what if that means you passed. Very strange I haven't heard of that happening. Pearson wouldn't tell u if you passed or not?
  10. I took mine may 5 in Gardena. I checked Pearson and it looks like I passed I get the good message and on breeze it says pending...since u took it may 1 do u still get the good pop up? Thank u
  11. Well congratulations!!! Ok so I checked again and still getting the good pop up. I took it Monday how soon will I see a pass under the details?
  12. Okay so I took my nclex rn today 5/5/14 and I got the good pop up instantly. Under details it says "delivery successful" & I've tried to check several times. Everyone says I passed but I'm still so worried. Is there any way it's a false positive? Thank You
  13. Hi Jes, Nope, I don't have facebook (sucks I know!!)....But I have sent you a private message on your allnurses account with my contact information. Feel free to call me or email me. Thanks for keepine me posted!

That way we will meet eachother and help eachother with the discussion questions...I don't have living arrangements made yet, ill probably live somehwere near school cause I don't want to wast time driving. I don't know if I will roomate yet, but it will be nice to live near a friend. Let me know if you are down to meet up?
  15. HI LIL JESS, YAY!!!! I get to meet more people from my cohort. I am also looking forward to having a study buddy because I know how hard its going to be. I am definately going to move out to irvine because I live about an hour away and need to use that time to study....Are you enrolled in the theology courses? Anyways, I'm so glad to hear from you again, lets keep in contact! Sincerely, Blueberry
  16. Hi Hopefulstdnt, Thank you for the review of your first few days...That really helps me out and makes me less nervous! I'm so excited about this whole process. Okay so I have made a note of the things I should take with me..Also, did you have to wear your uniforms to class the first day?? I ordered my uniform already just so I can see how one pair is before ordering another one. How many did you get? Wow, I'm so happy you are here helping me. You are done with the first week, Congratulations! I would love to have you as a mentor as your are so detailed oriented and friendly. Thank You for your help.
  17. omggg!!! that's intense! i'm so excited for you, it must be a really good feeling to finally start!!!!! i’m sure you will do just fine, it’s very hectic at first but you will get used to the schedule in no time! i'm amazed at how much the staff cares too, i've been to other school orientations and some schools really don't care about their students, but concordia is very caring and supportive! we are very lucky to get into this amazing program! i am curious as to which shoes you got also, i can't wait to order my supplies! anyways, if you find time to post more details, we would love that! best of luck to you and your goals!
  18. Hi Romney, Thank you for the email address, I will email you later today. You can order the books online, but pick them up from the bookstore, that way you won't have to pay the shipping and handling. I wish I lived close to the program, I'm so far!! HOPEFULSTUDENT, congratulations on starting the program on MONDAY!!!! You must be so happy and nervous, but its an amazing time and you should be very proud of yourself!!!!!! Good luck!
  19. HI Eclaire, I just got accepted into the SPRING 2011 Cohort and will be taking the theology courses this summer. I have questions regarding the schedules once the semster starts. I live in Los Angeles, and my drive to Irvine is 60 miles. Do you think I can still drive while maintaining this crazy schedule? Also can you give a brief desription of how a typical week looks like number of days of lecture and lab? Thank you and I appreciate your help. Sincerely, Blueberry
  20. Hi Hopeful!, I'm so excited to meet you also!!! Are you starting the program in the SPRING 2011 term? I noticed you mentioned that you took the theology courses already, I am kinda nervous to take these 6 units!!Thank you for the disclaimer and all the info you gave regarding the pre-req, this makes me feel a little better about taking them. Im registered into the classes but it doesn't show up on the blackboard portal yet, hopefully it will show up soon so I can get started on the hw's as well. I'm so happy I found this forum because I get to meet such nice people like you and romney!! I look forward to working with you guys throughout the program!! Goodluck!
  21. YAY!!! I'm so excited to meet you tooo!! I have ordered my books online but have not received them yet. I only ordered the ones that said required. I still need to order the uniforms but will probably wait and order them after I complete all the paperwork that is required. I am so excited but super nervous. I will definately buy more than 2 uniforms but isn't clinicals only once a week? I guess we can always order more if we need to, but the car idea is excellent and I will make sure to have an extra pair in the car. I currently live in Los Angeles, so I am probably going to drive or move out. Also, I have not yet paid for tuition because I am thinking of applying to financial aid or some sort of loan. I need to contact the financial aid department....How can we exchange emails so that we can contact eachother during the waiting period and pre-req class? Are you going to order the stethoscope and uniforms now?
  22. Hi KRomney, Thank you!!! Congratulations also on getting in!! The theology classes are online and they start on AUG 27. I am in the SPRING 2011 COHORT but we have to take these classes in the FALL 2010 term. I had an interview on FRIDAY JULY 9, I think you had one on the 10th from what I have read on the thread. Anyways I am excited and can't wait to meet my fellow classmates!! Did you order your books for the course and the lab uniform yet??
  23. HI Kurlaub, I was also in your group during the interview, I had the blue eyes loll...Did you get into the program??
  24. Hi LIlJESS, I have also been accepted into the FALL 2010 COHORT.
