Dallas Nursing Institute ADN cost?
I went in to talk to someone at the school yesterday and it is $600 a credit hour. For the Full ADN program it's 69 hours. 21 of those hours are prerequisites. 10 more of those hours can be taken at another school and transferred. For the ADN Bridge it's 61 hours with the same 21 prerequisites and 10 transfer hours. If you're an LVN you probably have all the prereqs. PreReqs: BIOL 2401 A&P BIOL 2402 A&P ENGL 1301 COMP I PSCY 2301 Intro to Psych PSYC 2314 Lifespan Growth and Dev. BIOL 2420 Microbiology That means for the full program minus classes you will/can take elsewhere it will cost $22,800. The ADN Bridge will cost $18,000. Their application deadlines are Sept 7 and Jan 18.

Moving to Cleveland Area and looking @ ADN programs
Thanks for all the help Scott. I'm moving from Texas and LPNs are LVNs in Texas. Still not sure what I'll do but really appreciate all the advice I've gotten here.

Dallas Nursing Institute ADN cost?
Does anyone know what the cost of the new ADN program at Dallas Nursing Institute is? Is there much of a waitlist? I know it's new too but is anyone doing it now? How is it going? I just don't know if I can wait around for the waiting lists and such for the local community colleges.

Thanks so much for your input on this. Spring 2012 is just so far from now. Would anyone recommend doing an LVN program and then just completing the bridge later? -Thanks!

Moving to Cleveland Area and looking @ ADN programs
Hello all! I'm new to the site and I'll be moving to the Cleveland area this August from out of state. I'm looking for an ADN program that I can complete as quickly as possible. I know I'll have to take prereqs, but then it seems like even after those there's a waiting period to see if you get into the programs. How long does that usually last? Can I reasonably expect to take prerequisites in the Fall(2010) and then start a program in the Spring or even Fall of next year(2011)? I called Tri-C earlier today to ask about this and the woman I talked to was very rude and unhelpful. And since we're moving I'm open to slightly different areas that could work. I know the Akron area is a possibility. I'd appreciate any help in the matter! Thanks so much.
