  1. Planning to apply to the UBC NP Program and have approached several academic and professional references for recommendation. I was asked if they require to write a letter or do rating. I understand that a link will be sent to their email address. Any insight as to what this reference format looks like? how long it is? I am hoping to offer as much insight about the process as possible to ensure they provide their informed consent in support of my application.
  2. I appreciate if anyone can help here; I'd like to know the answer to the followings: 1- Can some of the nurses who chose the med path after graduation share their experience? 2- To enter med school after practicing nursing for a year, is there a pre-med program at UBC Vancouver or should one enroll in chem, ochem, physics, etc., as an unclassified student. Can these prerequisits be taken while studying in an accelerated nursing program? Thanks everyone for your comments.
  3. Hi, I am 33 and by the time I finish my accelerated nursing program (20 months), I wil be 35. I hold a BSc and an MSc degree in health care management and thought about nursing for a long time. I have a successful career but I don't want to regret down the road for what I could do with my life. Good Luck and be proud of your life-long learning capacities.
