Leaving the UK for greener pastures
I think its the general requirement that you have two years experience before sitting the exam.Thats what I interpreted it as but could be mistaken.!:) I have in the past week read so many documents to do with immigration and such that my heads in a mess:rotfl: so check it out yourself to be sure!

Thanks sue. I have just applied on-line to do my cgfns. Tell me if i'm wrong but i think first i need my cgfns, then visascreen and then nclex, and greencard. i am going to attempt to do this myself as i want to go to a specific place in Texas.before i can get my greencard i will need an employer to sponser me. when i take my nclex i'm hoping to have a few interviews lined up. If any of this is in the wrong order please let me know.Have u any tips on taking the cgfns? Thanks for help up to now Gina:p

Hi, read your post and thought this piece of info might help you. When i was at the nursing times career convention i spoke to a coupl of american recruiters about experienc, They said you need a minimum of 12 months but if i applied as soon as i get my PIN, then by the time the process greencard ect, i will have already gained required experience.Hope this is helpful. Gina.
