What should I do after failing CGFNS Examination???
To Silverdragon!! Thank you very much for your reply. I think since I have to reapply anyways, I would go for CES and ask them if they can use my already submitted documents. I am trying to contact them every single day. They never pick up the phone nor they reply to my tons of emails. I am even ready to go there and meet them in person but for that too, I would have to take a prior appointment. Thank you once again....

What should I do after failing CGFNS Examination???
Hi Dontra07!! I am from NJ. And here it is required to take CGFNS examination. The reason I applied for Certification Program is lack of knowledge and proper guidance. Otherwise, I would have never taken this service. I really need your help in one matter. I also gave it a thought to apply to CA BON. How long did it take for you? And how did you do your Fingerprint verificaton... Can I get it done through Livescan method (since its a faster way); Any center here in NYC??

What should I do after failing CGFNS Examination???
Hi Silverdragon... It's not that i want to give this exam. Its because, I already applied to it once, i've already invested so much time after it. So, I wished if I could reach my goal this way. It's just that my school personnels are not very cooperative and they gave me hard time sending my documents to CGFNS for the first time. It seems its an endless process.....but still, if you guys suggest that I should give up reapplying the CGFNS examination, what would be the next best way for me...Please... I need your help...

What should I do after failing CGFNS Examination???
Hello Friends!! I appeared in the CGFNS examination last November, 2010 and could not clear it. I agree that I didn't prepare well for it. I am now ready to retake the examination but when I am trying to reapply through CGFNS, they are asking me to resubmit the Nursing education Transcript and License verification form all over again from the country of my education. So, if I reapply for CGFNS examination, does that mean, I would have to wait another year to get the credential reviewed and then give the CGFNS Examination and afterwards, give the NCLEX??? This is so.. frustrating...I am going crazy.... If anyone knows what happens if I now reapply for cgfns examination, please help me... I don't want to waste my time and money after CGFNS if they are going to make me redo the entire application all over again.. Please suggest what are my options now and what is the appropriate way for me get ATT to take NCLEX..... Please Suzanne.... I need your advise... I feel I am lost...

Can I work in any state after I pass CGFNS examination? How to do that?
Hi elkpark....!! Thank you for your reply...I know that I would have to give NCLEX and I want to give it too. I am just concerned about getting some first hand experience which might help me to get the real RN job when I would be done with my NCLEX. I read somewhere that if you have passed the CGFNS and waiting for your NCLEX results, you might be able to work on some "INTERIM PERMIT". Do you know anything about it?

Can I work in any state after I pass CGFNS examination? How to do that?
Hello Everyone!! I have opted for CGFNS certification program and I am going to give the examination next month. Would this examination qualify me to work and is it equivalent to the NCLEX examination? I just want to get started with some nursing job. I am ready to give the NCLEX examination but I need some primary experience. Further, I have an SSN#. So, that's not an issue. I have wasted so much of money and time after this program and now the CGFNS guys are telling me that they even wont produce a report of my Credential Evaluation and send it to any state. Is there any way I can work based on CGFNS passing results? I need a temporary job only. Just to get started with. Please help..... Rupal

An international nurse student seeks advice to build her carrier....
Hi All!! This forum has been very useful to me and has provided me with the best guidance in all confusions. Once again, I seriously need your help.. Please advise me. I hold BSN degree from India and I have completed my bachelors in 2008. I wanted to mention this point to highlight that I am not a fresh graduate. I came in US at around Sept., 2009 for Masters in Gerontology program. I am continued with it and also preparing for NCLEX which I hope I would be done with by December. My major concern is what should I do right now to make my resume look good when I apply for job of RN? I can't work because I don't have a RN license. I can't join any RN to BSN program because I am already BSN. I dont want to start my carrier without basic RN experience. I have little experience of working in India but it wouldn't count here. Is there anyone like me in this forum who has made her carrier thorough these odds? Is there anything I can do to have little experience in US health care system by the time I pass my NCLEX examination? I wouldn't even mind to work for free.... I love my field but it seems like every door is closed for me. Please reply.... Eagerly waiting for your suggestions... rajal8787
