I'd been looking for stretchy scrubs too; I finally found a line of scrubs that have spandex in them. They are not Cherokee but they are my new favorite. Thought I'd share. The NRG line of scrubs by Barco are made of poly 74% / rayon 22 % / spandex 4%. So soft, comfy, and stylish. I ordered my scrubs online from Heckman Health Care Services and Supplies. Hi kgen, I think that I understand what you are feeling. I too am in my first semester of a nursing program and have, at times, felt discouraged regarding my level of achievement. Prior to entering this program, I managed to achieve great marks. Exemplary undergrad marks were necessary to get into this competitive entry nursing program. I have had to adjust my attitude and focus on what is really important - being the best student nurse that I can be. I've learnt that this doesn't always mean having the best marks. I am learning to modify my personal expectations and enjoy the journey, one day I will be an RN. I came across this quote that is helping me to adapt and change my attitude: "A is excellent B is very good But remember C = RN Promoting excellence but living with reality" Don't give up....you can do this.

Hi H0pefulStdnt, When buying used textbooks from online sources, like Amazon, you can contact the seller of the book. I have contacted sellers in the past to ask if the CD was included or to confirm which edition they had for sale and even asked questions about the condition of the book. At Amazon's website when you click on the seller's name you are redirected to another page that has a "related links" area. This is where you can find the link "contact this seller". To avoid disappointment, confirm the details before going through with the transaction. I buy most of my textbooks online, it's a great cost efficient option for students.

Hi All, I would like to take an online microbiology course but my school requires that the course include a lab component. I am considering the course at Edukan and have submitted the syllabus to my school for review. My school did not seem all that receptive to the virtual lab component, but I haven't received an answer back from them yet. I remember reading a post about an online microbiology course that requires students to participate in a proctored hands-on lab. Now, I can't find that post and wondered if anyone knows which school offers a three hour hands-on proctored lab experience in addition to the virtual lab included with the course. Thanks!
