flrnmgb i see you're in the orlando area. i work at fl hosp south right now. have you picked your clinical site yet, are you considering the davenport rotation?

hard to say, guess it really depends on the manager and what his/her staffing looks like at that moment. i was upfront and told them of my plans, also that it wasn't happening any time soon as i still had sciences to take and such. we've had 4 nurses including myself leave in the year that i've worked there to go to crna school. and i just heard this past week that my manager did not hire a nurse solely on the fact that her plan was to go to crna school.

i always thought that i'd run and tell everyone on my unit when i found out i was accepted, but now that it's happened, i feel the opposite. i'm only sharing with select few people that i trust. i'm sure it'll hit the grapevine and the whole unit will know eventually, but hopefully i'll be counting down my last few days by then.

have you decided on naples or tampa for your clinical site?

oh how awful. you went ahead and interviewed tuesday? wow, i'm impressed.

ICUDOUCME thanx for the info. I talked to Gilbert and there's a interview invitation letter coming. The interview dates are in September. I loved Naples, we spent a weekend there last summer. Wow classes on the 23rd, good luck, have fun!

I interview 6/5 for Barry Jan 2007 class! I've been so nervous, waiting to hear if I can interview. And now I'll be nervous until I hear that I'm accepted! :)

Thanx for all of the helpful info about wolford since they've split on their own. I'm applying to wolford and barry. They're the only two in florida that start classes in jan/feb and the rest start in the fall. Naples is beautiful, I'll agree it's expensive too.
