University in Australia offering Nursing Conversion Program
Thank you Silverdragon102 and iamnomad! Yes i had visited the website of Flinder University but they don't offer the conversion program. What they have are with honours and graduate entry for nursing. But I'm not sure if both will guarantee for the registration in the Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (NMBA) to become a Registered Nurse. Since that's what I'm after for. :hrnsmlys:

@_carla_: In your application for UQ, did you have the eligibility reference from the board of nursing?

@giacen_17 : Thank you for the link you have given me. @_carla_: I was also thinking of applying in UQ. Did you do it on your own? How long did it take you to wait for their response? Have they granted you the 1 year course?

Phil RN who wishes to work in Australia
Good day Everyone!! :) I'm a Registered Nurse from the Philippines and I wish to work as a nurse in Victoria or Queensland, Australia. I know there's a need for me to undergo with a bridging course or conversion program in order for me to become a registered nurse in these states. I hope to know what are the requirement from them for me to have the eligibility to take the course or program from any nursing schools or universities in these areas? What will be my possible actions to become a registered nurse in Australia? Hoping for a good response and tip, Alchemy
