  1. BIG CONGRATS TO EVERYONE THAT PASSED! and good luck to those who will be writing the exam in a couple of months. Now time to get a job! :)
  2. Breathe! and as for your friend...I failed the first time I wrote it so I know how it feels.. I hated being in that position. Try not to stress over it too much. Good luck, and I'm hoping that you pass!!!!
  3. Hi deanne, I actually live in Vancouver. However, based on what I know.. Alberta and BC seem to be the only two provinces that have received results. I'm guessing they sent out our results ahead of time because we live on the west... (they tally up the marks in Ontario I believe). Thanks! I'm hoping that you will pass! -Mackzzz
  4. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I passed I passed!!!!! I ran downstairs to check the mail and my heart started beating because there was a lot of mail. I'm feeling on top of the world right now! Congrats to all who passed!
  5. I hope we all pass... I've been checking online to see if they updated the database... it was last updated on October 12th..... I have a feeling that our results are on the way... Just keep praying!
  6. Deanne, we got a couple more days to go!!! I hate the waiting part of it all.....its the worst
  7. thanks for clearing that up for me fiona
  8. Not true for the CPNRE (Im not sure about the CRNE)... they base it off a bell curve so it depends really.
  9. Agreed. The first part for me was somewhat difficult compared to the second half. I also answered super fast on the second one and as I finished, I looked back and the room was still full. I also feel the same way you do..but since it was my second time writing, I feel way more confident then before. Report your results here once you get it!! :)
  10. Yup..I wrote it for the second time (first one was in May) and I honestly felt that I did pretty good on this one. I felt confident leading up to the exam. However, there were some questions that had me scratching my head (and some questions that I know I got wrong lol). Other then that, I feel okay. I didn't use up all the time provided. I never changed my answer as well (Which I did on my first exam)
  11. Hey winterspice, I used the Canadian PN Exam Prep Guide and did just repeated that until I understood how the questions would be. You can try the predictors (as they are similar to the exam) I used a lot of my schools material that they provided us to study and I studied with a group prior to the exam. It is really helpful because they can fill in the holes when you share material. With that said, just focus on the basics, and critical thinking. Good luck!
  12. I just wrote the exam again today (for the second time) and I really REALLY hope that I passed this time. Sorta excited for my results. I studied 3 months for this and I had no anxiety leading up to the exam compared to the first time! Hopefully everyone did okay on the exam :)
  13. These are the areas that I lacked in... Under Competency: Foundations of Practice, Professional, Ethical and Legal Pratice. Under Cognitive Level: Application Critical Thinking and Knowledge/Comprehension I have a lot to work on for 3 months..
  14. So...I have 3 months to study real hard. Any tips besides the PN prep guide?
