  1. I think they take 60, I know I said 40 in an earlier post, but I think it is 60. The HESI at BRCC is not hard, so I would suggest taking it there. When I took it I used this book Elsevier: HESI: Admission Assessment Exam Review, 2nd Edition - Elsevier. ISBN:9781416056355 and it helped a lot. Also, it really does help if you take your classes at BRCC. If you aren't planning on applying until 2011 then it probably wouldn't hurt to start taking some classes there now, even if it means retaking the prereqs you already have. If you made a B or a C in a prereq somewhere else, try taking it at BRCC, it really will benefit you. By taking your classes at BRCC you will also meet a lot of other students trying to get into the program and that is always nice.
  2. I wouldn't worry about bugging them, they are used to it! Haha
  3. They accept applicants based on GPA, HESI, and how many of your pre-reqs you have taken at BRCC...in that order. If you and another person have the same GPA and HESI score but the other person has taken more classes at BRCC, the other person will have the upper hand. It is a pretty difficult program to get into, as someone said before, they only take 40 and over 300 apply. Also, I think they also hold spots for those needing to re-take the class, but that I am not sure about. If you have any questions, your best bet is to call and talk to the dean herself, she is the most reliable source.
