  2. Any suggestions for all white clinical shoes? Brand and model of shoe is greatly appreciate it!
  3. I am so happy and excited to begin the RN program, however my wallet is not. The good thing is one we graduate and get jobs our wallets will be full again!
  4. Looking forward to seeing everyone at orientation tommorrow!
  5. 3 more days until orientation! :clpty:
  6. I emailed a woman asking what form of payment is taken for the purchase of uniforms and lab supplies at orientation. She said cash or check only as she does not think a credit card machine will be available. Just wanted to give everyone the FYI.
  7. Jil_: The Nursing department will only accept CPR for the “Healthcare Provider” from the American Heart Association. Just make sure that his CPR certfication is acceptable. Good luck! *
  8. Congratulations to everyone that got into the RN program!
  9. jjvdb13: 1 & 2) i would turn it into the nursing office in lieu of email as not to chance it getting lost. also, it says on the checklist and email on your acceptance that it must be turned into the nursing office by the august 16. 3) i wouldn't worry about being overly prepared for orientation as everything you need to know will be dictated there. just bring a notebook & a folder so that you can take notes and file all the paperwork that i am sure we will be given. 4) get started on your shots as quickly as possible and if any of the shots are in process you will be okay as long as you can prove it being in process. also, call the nursing department, if you have questions. they are very helpful. hope my information helps.
  10. I'm at the doctors office and I just got the first set of shots. Also got a physical and waiting for my blood to be drawn. I have never been so excited to be at the doctors office. :-)
  11. Keldorn: I heard they are 80 spots and 20 for hybrid. I heard it was over 500 applicants. This was from someone already in the RN program.
  12. numberVII:I also selected the day program as my primary. I did not apply for the hybrid (evening) as my secondary. Don't worry, my last name starts with a R so they are definitely not going in order and they are not done sending emails yet. Good luck to everyone that applied! :-)
  13. I got in, I got my aceptance email at 8:16 pm. :yeah:So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. by July 18?! My heart just skipped a beat. I hope mid July gets here really fast so that the waiting game can be over. :redbeathe
  15. Has anyone heard anything? I got my confirmation email last week. So anxious!!! Hope the acceptance emails are sent soon..
  16. I agree Megirl, I think next week will be the week they start sending the acceptance/rejection emails. I'm so ready to know already! Best of luck to everyone. :-)
  17. I was told they only have 100 slots open this Fall. Last Fall they had approx 165 slots and over 600 applicants. All we can do is wait and hope for the best. I'm trying to remain positive and hope that July comes quickly!
  18. Me too, I hate playing the waiting game! I heard that some people do not find out until mid to end of July. At least June 1st is come and gone. Cross those fingers people and say a prayer! :redbeathe
  19. Thank you PharmLUV. I just turn in my app & paperwork to enrollment services today. Now I get to play the waiting game. Did you apply with option B too? Congrats on being in your 3rd semester, how is the program?
  20. I did go to the nursing information session and it was very helpful. However, if you go to the San Jac website and search nursing, all the information will be there along with the ADN application and some other forms you need to sign. I did my background check and drug test early last week. It takes approximately 48 hours for them to send the information directly to the school. Not sure on if it can be used for other schools as they all have their different guidelines. Good luck with your submission. :-)
  21. I am also going with option B. I have 2 A's (Anatomy, English) and 1 B (Math). My pre-requesite GPA is 3.7 but my overall GPA is a 3.25. I took the ACT so if I score greater than a 25, then I will also put option A. They said you can put both options. I think we do have a shot! I have spoken to some students in the RN program that also had 2 A's and 1 B and they got in. It all depend on how many people apply and how good there scores and grades are. There is only 100 slots open so cross your fingers! I heard they only have 35 slots for the hybrid program, so good luck! :-)
  22. Yeah! I'm gonna check. Thank you. :)
  23. All the teachers at San Jac need to report their grades by the 17th (their deadline) and the grades will be ready for us to see on sos on 18 or 19th at the latest.
  24. Hi everyone. Im wondering if any of you are planning on applying to San Jac ADN program or are in the program? Also, when applying will you be using option A, B or both? Lets talk about it here. :redbeathe
  25. I am applying early next week when grades at San Jac are posted. I think I am applying with Option A and Option B. There are only 100 slots available so i am retaking the ACT to see how well I do. Good luck everyone!! :)
