  1. Hello $haLynn... I am a 2010 AECP Nursing major selectee. I started school this last fall. I would be glad to answer any questions you have. Hopefully you have already submitted your waiver request and that processes without a problem. Where are you at if you don't mind me asking? Give me a run-down on how your package looks (EPRs, AFOQT, GAP, etc...) and I will give you honest feedback (how it compares to mine, what I have heard, etc...). Sorry I didn't see your post sooner...hope all is going good so far. Tim
  2. BookeND... Congrats on BTZ...! Haven't been on here in a few days, so I am a bit behind. I am an AECP select for this year and have posted my AFOQT scores below if you are still looking. Happy to give any guidance/advice you would like on the AECP package/application process. Good luck! AFOQT: Pilot-91, Nav-98, Acad Aptitude-99, Verbal-95, Quant-98
  3. BrookeND... I do not have "permissions" to send PMs...I am new to this forum and do not have enough posts..lol I have put my yahoo address on the last line. Feel free to send me a message when you get this. I will be glad to help in any way I can. Here it is....tmitchell40
  4. Brooke... As "airforceguy" pointed out, micro will probably be a requirement for any nursing program you apply for even though it is not an AECP requirement. I was just accepted for AECP this year and will begin school in a August. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have questions.
  5. I did....!! So I am riding pretty high right now. It has been a long and tiring road...many late nights at class and days of stress getting the package together. It is all worth it when you see your name on that list...:-) I originally started out working on NECP, but another person in my unit came by my office for a signature on his fitness form for AECP. Long story short, we talked and I switched to AECP.
  6. Anne g, I am enlisted and have been picked-up for AECP this year. I will be starting class in Aug. I would be more than happy to help you out with any questions you have about AECP and the application.
  7. To everyone waiting on their NECP package... I wish all of you the very best of luck. I applied to AECP this year, and know how the wait is...it was absolutely miserable. I was driving myself insane constantly checking the website for updates..:-) Everything I have seen regarding NECP seems to indicate they select the majority of the qualified applicants...so as long as your grades/recommendations were good, I don't think any of you will have a problem. I also do not believe the "draw-down" will hurt NECP too much. We are too short in the nursing field.
