Thank you for all your insights regarding job prospects for new grads. I have applied for a few nursing schools in BC, Alberta, and Ontario and will need to make a decision in the next few weeks. That said, if I would like to work in Toronto following graduation, would I be in a better position if I pursued my nursing degree in Toronto? Would it be more difficult for me to find a job in Toronto as a UBC graduate (my attachment to UBC is for cost-related purposes; i.e. I would be able to live at home)?

Do you get any months of in the U of Calgary BNAT program? The UBC nursing students, for example, get the month of August off. vta3 - Have you heard back from U of C yet? I just submitted my application this morning! pete - What are your thoughts on living in Calgary? Similar to vta3, I was born and have lived in Vancouver all my life.

Just wondering if anyone has been accepted recently? Those accepted were required to respond yesterday with fulfilled prerequisites and payments.

Congrats everyone! Unfortunately, I did not get accepted into the program. Just wondering if those who didn't get accepted received a note somewhere in the email saying they were put on a waitlist? (I didn't). Thanks!
