Ok i live in NYC and was offered verbally a positon with a HHC hospital after an interview that took place a month ago. I didnt receive any calls after being told by the interviewer after the offer, to expect one soon from HR . 3 weeks went by i call her back to follow up. She says she just got back she was sick and also jcaho was there so HR was on a "freeze" n that she had turned in all her results from the interview n papers indicating me as the chosen canidate the day after my interview n that she would call me back to see wats goin on with the process. Okay now its been another week and no call back. Im wondering should i now contact HR myself bcoz she also said "ur next point of contact should be HR." Im eager to begin this position and am feeling forgotten n want to kinda remind them that im here waiting just in case they forgot bcoz i kno alot of times they take their time or put other things 1st. What would you do? HELP!
