  1. Hello, I am a newbie, so please bear with me. I am greatly confused as to which path to take. I am currently a medical assistant, and I want to return to school to pursue my RN. I did my medical assisting at Maric College (which is now Kaplan University), other than the training I received there, I do not have any other schooling. They do have an nursing program that runs about 18 months with a serious price tag. However, I don't exactly have the luxury of time and youth on my side if I were to go the traditional 4 year route. Do employers really weigh the accelerated program vs. traditional 4 year colleges? I am just so confused and I would really appreciate anyone's two cents on the matter. I am totally clueless where to begin. Thank you...
