  1. I bridged into an LPN to BSN program and completed it in under three years. I feel that the education I received as an LPN properly prepared me for the role as an LPN. However, there was a lot of unlearning to do transitioning to an RN. Overall I believe prior experience as an LPN definitely helped.
  2. Have you thought about a psychosocial diagnosis pertaining to his altered mental status, new palliative care, and newly implemented DNR? You could even write a diagnosis about altered family processes or something about risk for impaired grieving (terminology is off, I'm not looking at a book) because of aphasia, altered mental status. Hope that gives you a few ideas! Good luck.
  3. Thank you, that seems logical. Do you recommend a search with EBSCO using keywords such as nursing + CAM or nursing + integrative as a start?
  4. Hello. I am a graduate student enrolled in an MSN-FNP program. I'm having to come up with literature review ideas for a research class. The literature review for my research class will hopefully become a part of my scholarly project, so the topic needs to be something I'm interested in and can be researched. I'm really having a hard time coming up with problems though. Can someone please give me a few ideas?? My interests are in integrative medicine, complementary treatments, vitamin D (for prevention of breast CA, stimulation of immune system). I desperately need some help. Thank you.
