Hi, I am currently a student at UCF. I had a life-changing event this spring semester, and unfortunately I had to withdraw from Human Anatomy and I received an NC for Chemistry. However, I received a C in the Chemistry lab, but that is unacceptable at UCF and I will have to retake it. I am looking into the possibility of transferring from UCF to FIU. But, I felt a little discouraged when I read this on their nursing admission requirements: No repeats in required science courses because of failure (C- or below) and all science courses completed within the past 10 years. Successfully complete HESI - A2 exam I am looking for more information of current FIU students on how this requirement may affect me and the possibility of joining the nursing program there. If I received an NC for Chem and a W in Anatomy is this considered failure and will this prevent me from getting accepted? Also, is receiving a C in chemistry lab acceptable? My current GPA is a 3.5. I would greatly appreciate any feedback. Thank you.
