Applying for License in the USA
Hello people, I'm in need of some guidance here. I'm currently in the process of applying for my NCLEX. Actually the California BON already has most of my requirements such as TOR, diploma, etc. The problem is I received a letter from CaBON stating that I still need to send my "Class Schedule of Nursing Program" from the school I attended along with the "Schedule of Clinical Rotation and/or log book that includes the locations, dates, and signature of clinical instructor". Can anybody clarify what these are? To me it sounds like the RLE Summary(Related Learning Experience) since it states the course content of the courses in the nursing program at my school as well as the total clinical and classroom lecture hours during my education. What's weird is the RLE summary was included in the same package that was sent from my school to CaBON a few minutes ago. Can anyone please share any input on this matter? Are they talking about the RLE Summary or something else? I thought I had everything done, but then this letter came along and just put me at a standstill. Thank you for your time.

improving timing
EDIT: I APOLOGIZE. I SEEMED TO HAVE POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG FORUM. IT'S MEANT FOR THE NCLEX FORUM. CAN A MOD MOVE IT PLEASE? THANK YOU. Good afternoon future nurses:) Lately I began shifting my focus from reviewing concepts to actually taking practice exams. The first few exams were more relaxed and I would say that it took me an average of 1hr & 45min to answer 75 questions. My average overall was 70%. Then I read a few posts on allnurses that the timing is also an important aspect of the exam so I decided to limit myself to 1 minute per question which equated to 60questions : 60 minutes. In the end, my score drastically fell to 50% I guess my critical thinking is heavily affected when I know I have time constraints so now I'm motivated to try and resolve my timing issues. For one, I'm going to continue doing exams in this manner to train my mind, but I would appreciate it if you guys can recommend some techniques and other helpful hints that could help my mind "run" faster:D Thank you all.

Question about Respi or Droplet precaution / isolation
I'm reviewing right now and haven't taken the exam yet, but take this for what it's worth. I think in terms of the NCLEX, there are situations where have to assume that we live in a perfect world. So in any situation regarding transmission based precautions like droplet, it's best to answer leave the equipment in the room and use one set of equipment for one patient to prevent further spread. Again, this is based on what I've reviewed so far.

Second time I passed!!!!!!!!!
Hi I'm new here and would like to congratulate you on your success. Reading stories like this truly inspires me to keep at it as I'm currently reviewing for NCLEX-RN. Good luck with everything.
