  1. Hi Everyone, I was wondering if I could get an advice from you guys about my next job interview. Was wondering if in your opinion okay to tell them that you quit your previous job 2 years ago, not your current employer, because you're fiance passed away and you needed a new environment to help you move on? that's because I moved from las vegas, to california because of that 2 years ago, and now I've decided to come back. Will that imply as a negative thing for me, or should I just say for my personal growth instead of being specific? Would really appreciate your opinion. thanks;)
  2. Hi everyone, I've been a nurse for 2 years and wanted to finish my BSN. I needed help deciding which school to go to. I checked 2 different schools. 1st one was the western governors university, it's an 18 month program which will cost me about $9,000-12,000 and it's an online program. The other one is west coast university same 18 month but $30,000, this one's in campus. when i went on the california state board of nursing, I noticed that western governor's not yet accredited. I'm currently working at a hospital. And right now, stuck on deciding which one to go to, both seemed to be a good program. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance
  3. Hi everyone! :) I've been a nurse for almost 2 years now. I've always knew I wanted to be a nurse, but right after graduation, I started working on a very busy hospital on a Med/Surg floor. With 7 patients, with 3 of them being confused, there are times that I can say that I really love what I do, but most of the time, i get exhausted and burned out. I started to think whether nursing was really for me. I sent this post to see if there were nurses out there that's going through the same problem as I am. And if you do, did you guys ever think about changing may be on a different nursing field? May be ICU or peds or something, I know there's a lot out there, I just don't know which once are which. I would really appreciate your response. Hope you could help me see other options. thanks in advance
