Hello all, long time reader, first time poster. I'm your dime-a-dozen New Grad BSN nurse still looking for a job a year after graduation, and I've been really considering joining the Army Nurse Corps. I spoke to a health care recruiter today and got the ball rolling. But I had one of those moments where you realize a question hours after the opportunity. So I figured i'd ask here. Realistically speaking, what are the chances I will not be accepted by the Board in October, with my standard "No RN work experience", 3.1 GPA, and barely making the physical requirements? Not being employed and with loans and parents breathing down ones back makes for many sleepless nights. I don't like the uncertainty. I plan on picking up a part time job just to make ends meet. But if I don't get accepted in October, i'll be burning even more borrowed time. And still with no RN job. I'm simply at a loss and quite stressed out. Thanks for the ear, -Iris223
