Thank you for the words of wisdom. I really appreciate it! :) I'm going to keep trying and hopefully something will come my way. Patience is probably the first most important thing you learn in nursing school and this is the ultimate test. lol.

I know there are probably tons of this exact same post here, but I need to VENT! I took the boards in May 2010 and didn't get my license until Sept. 2010, bc the boards were super backed up. I was the first one to pass from my class and I even took an IV Certification, Blood Withdrawal and an Advanced Wound Care course to make myself more marketable. That's STILL not enough though! Yes, I live in Southern California and it's true...the job market here SUCKS! I'm on the verge of giving up! I've applied everywhere and have only heard a handful of callbacks to find out they want someone with experience or they want RNs. I know complaining won't get me anywhere, but I really just needed to let it out. There's only so much positivity one person can have! LOL! I'm so frustrated, sad, and losing all hope. How long did it take for some of you guys to get your first job?

I took mine May 26th and I still haven't gotten anything. How long after the dates they are working on do you get your results?! gahhh....All this waiting is making me go crazy! haha!
