  1. Meds is where I did my CNA LOVE THEM
  2. yup i had all 7 pts past teas and ck in on friday ....CANT WAIT TO GET STARTED:yeah:
  3. did you apply for days or nights??They recvd 500 applications and thats whats taking so long usually they recv about 250 so they were not prepared also how many points did you have
  4. I have 7 points and its a must for the 21 spots for nights yes i had micro and took all classes thru mcc diffrent campuses thou.....still waiting to be notified as typically penn gets 200apps a semester they got 450 this time so they are super backed up....whats ur name (in case we get in and run into one another;)- and how many points do u have?
  5. Also the teas test is super hard the national average is only 60% but penn valley only requires a 51.3 or 53.1 cant remember wich one.....
  6. I just applied for the evening/weekend program and im a lil nervous even though i have all 7 pts due to the fact they only take 21 people! So how many points do u have and have u talked to anyone else applying for nights?
  7. For starters there is no way to get into Penn Valley with 3 something points maybe u meant that was your GPA plus points.....for the day not having six means theres a very slim chance u will get in for the nights if you dont have 7 points .....good luck - points are based on gpa so if u have a 4.0 thats 4pts micro passing with atleast a c gives u an extra point and being in district and having Cna lics or currently working gives u the final 7th point. Penn Valley is an awesome school then you can get ur BSN on PV campus thru mo west. Once you get accepted by points u must then pass the TEAS its hard I wont lie - the national average is 60% all PV requires is that u pass with a 53% not an 80 percent that is not true! Good luck this worl needs nurses that are intellegent and great with people ....if your not a person that can wear a smile 24/7 consider looking for a new career. Sorry to sound harsh just cant stand people that get into nursing for all the wrong reasons and severly lack people skills -- sick people have their own attitude they dont need a rude un sympethetic nurses-
  8. hi im applying to the night program but the teas is insane hard I thought we just had to pass not get atleast 80% im super confused can someone who actually knows please clearify --I have all 7 points and Im just worried that I will not score high on the teas Ive studied the booklet but dont know if it uses the same questions and im a 4.0 student and have done horriable on the pretest 60% blaaa---I need answers please help:nurse:
