i did apply with them online after 3 weeks, then after a week i tried to call them to follow up no one answered so i leave a message then after i receive no response more than 2 weeks then. after i received a call from them for an interview tuesday, then they said they will give me a call the next 24 hours if am all good . my interview took 2 hours and after that they asked me to sign for background check then, i waited few days with no response with them after four days the clinical manager called me and told me i was hired congratulation ,she said i have to wait for the HR to be called to discuss the benefits and salary, thennn i received a called to them and they told me welcome aboard . il start on monday ! yipee

i was been interview and they requested me to come back after 3 days and they ask me to fill up the authorization for background check. and they asked me all the question i wanna ask. after that they said they will give me a call once they receieve my background check and if everything is good i can start my orientation . i live in california and never live in any other states though i had my degree in BSN in foreign country . i wonder how long for them to run my background check.. am i hired? am still confused . and i also receive a call the same day which is she congratulate me the clinical manager that i was hired and she told me that i will be receiving a call from HR about the salary and benefits information but 2 days pass already and receive anything .. i dont know whats goin on...pls help

hey kristy i just receive my license this year may 1st week. my cousin just called the recruiter today , and she was able to talk to them , they said their still going to call those people who received email and there doing it sequential ,,, wonder if start to z to a from last name or what..

nice kristy, will they keep calling all the candidate up to next week or they all interview already everybody... do you have experience as an RN kristy ?

am jealous kristy, i would turn down my job offer for good samaritan nicu :) i wish they call me tomorrow. do you mind to share what they tell you pls thank you , or what they ask you

not from good samaritan from differnt hospital again , i got 3 offers now which i dont know who to pick and they were all wants me to come already next week ... wahh i wanna take the night shift and the morning shift in the other one.. i wonder if the orientation normally happens in what shift you will work right?

thanks daisy , but def will update you guys once i receive a call from good samaritan . today i receive another offer...now i am overwhelmed.. like they were non stop . and i wanna take them all. i have apply in few positions that are open ... somewhat i have advice for those people doing job hunting. when you apply , if you want at least aim for a chance and not make your self keep going to thousand interviews , try also to be very patience in reading the ads and look for the qualification ,when they said if right candidate and they willing to train , try those and really sell your self and let them know its their lost if they didnt choose you. I dont have experience but after pretty much less than 5 interview 3 of them i received an offer , the 2 havent responded with me yet . although i send alot of resume in new grad prog only good samaritan have response to me. keep it up guys! and go to small hospital apply one by one even their not hiring right now fill up the application . thats what i did, their not hiring the time i applied but after a week they start hiring...

nah, i turn down the SFO , i dont wanna move in there , lucky i didnt take it , my advice , dont just apply online . make all the list of all the facilities , hospital , subacute , acute hospital and apply .. even their not hiring coz they really keep your resume and then when someone resign or terminated they start hiring before they out of staff

thanks jaydee, my shift will be either 3pm to 11pm , or 11pm to 7 am , the aesthetic nurse , the dermatology clinic opens 9am to 7pm which i was thinkin to get both but maybe 4 days to the other one and 3 days in the other. but the thing i dont want them to conflict my schedule now. and they both will start next week orientation but i wanna grab them both. oh i need advice..

Up to now i havent receive any phone call from them , but today was really good . I receive a call from hospital and as aestethic nurse now i was overwhelmed i dont know which one to pick . and i said to both of them .. but am still looking forward from nicu .. well but i cant wait forever good luck to everyone

thanks daisy rock , i been trying to call them since last week , but all goes to voice mail. the worst is even i got a letter that they will include me in phone interview which i havent been receive , the worst part i check my member login i dont see my record in my application in nicu . what went wrong ...

i dont have my nicu application in my activity in my member account , how could that be possible , even i received a letter fro a specific unit which is nicu. oh my... whats really goin on .. if i dont receive a call from next week i need to move on

i just check my status of my application and when i did check it , theres nothing in ma record ,exept for the ortho position , i dont know what happen , ohh my... is there anyone the same situation with me .. pls reply... anyone thank you

i never receive that kind of email , except the one they said they will call me for phone interview with the name of the recruiter and her office number and pager number , i was tempting to call her but it might be a bad move, because she might be busy.. although that email was since 2 weeks ago. where did you check your application status

do you live in the area? are you been applying with the other position in good samaritan. have you tried calling them ? i did email them before that am looking forward to speak with them but then i receive no response. i have read some thread that normally they had elimination process

their affliated from UCLA and USC, they have good training program and its a big hospital so if you get an experience with them and work with them , definitely you also have a big chance getting a chance to get a job in other big hospital that you wish for if you decided to level up.. i graduated year 2008 , but i already have my license, i recently get it few weeks ago. so you mean they email you that they will do phone interview with you , coz they email me that i will be having phone interview with them. but that was 2 weeks ago and still not recieving any call from them , they said they will call me last week according to the email, am so nervous

hey gleek , so you mean to say you received a mail that they were telling you that you will have phone interview. the program will start on july , i wonder if when they will start calling, coz i dont want to make a move that i will regret it, lol. there is a job hanging in san francisco for me but i dont wanna move in there I lived in La and 10 mins away from good samaritan so if i get in the program its a big opportunity for me and i really wanted to work with them ..keep in touch gleek my phone is on and still keep waiting for a call

i graduated 2008 but i just recently took my nclex and pass it couple weeks ago , and am trying to get in into new grad program or re entry program .. crossing my finger , i have no experience so its kinda tight to get a job , i have couple interview but hmmm not really helps coz they prefer someone who has at least 1 year experience

i applied in nicu training program the day it was been posted , after 2 days i receive a letter from the recruiter and told me i'l be having a phone interview. the final submission was june 3, 2011 and it is close now. so its been more than a week since i been waiting for a call . i wonder if anyone applied and receive same letter as me.. pls need an advice. thank you so much

i dont mind being paid 10/hr as RN , i need experience .. not money .. coz after you gain experience that will be paid off i cant demand high salary when the fact i dont have any experience .. so if anyone will hire me with little salary il take it as long il gain real good experience

pinoy i was there as well, and it was disaster like most of the employer in their was for selling some **** they even said in ther add invitation there are employer for new grad but none except you wanna sell some **** lol excuse ma words . but literally it was waste of time... am dying to have experience . at least one that can make a big difference il take it even i will be paid 10/hr seriously

went to job fair worst ever its useless!!! anyway does anyone receive any email from cedars right after you cut and paste your resume
