Help Anxiety is killing me
I have recently have had an onset of anxiety. I can't relax can't think. I'm so embarrassed. I feel like only a devine intervention could help me refocus and calm down. I don't feel safe caring for my patients in this state of mind. This is the scariest thing I've ever faced. I'm not sure what to do.

How Can I Get Acclimated to the Midnight Shift?
I am a night shifter and have been for 2 years now! I love it! I have a 3 year old so I do transition back to days when I'm off. The night before my first shift I stay up until 2 am, wake up @ 7am, then do something relaxed like laundry and go back to bed @ noon and wake up @ 5 to go to work. On my first days off I sleep until noon and then wake up and start my day. I usually schedule some type of appt to make sure I'm up @ noon! Then I sleep like a baby that night! Hope this helps!

New Job Offer but bad situation with daycare (advice needed)
Thanks everyone for your suggestions! All of the women I've met thus far have jobs! Go figure huh? Webmansx, I do use the child care on post and have been to CYS and they have given me a list of FCC providers to call. I just feel more comfortable with him at a daycare center than someone's home. Hopefully it will all work out for the best!

New Job Offer but bad situation with daycare (advice needed)
Yes, its a PRN position, but its that first week of hospital orientation that I'm required to have that is the problem! After that initial week is over the daycare wont be an issue. We are a military family and have been in the area for 2 months if that, so...family really isnt an option.

New Job Offer but bad situation with daycare (advice needed)
Hello all! I have been viewing allnurses.com for sometime but this is my first post so here goes.....I just got a voicemail from a nurse recruiter with a job offer for a prn position. I am soooo happy I really wanted this job! The bad news is my child is in parttime daycare (MWF) and there is not a spot available for him to switch to fulltime daycare until May 17th . Im not sure what to do. I truly want this job, but will they hold the position that long? I really want this position! I need advice. Im sooooo stressed!
