  1. I failed the nclex several times. I purchased lippincott's alternate-format questions book. The last time i tested i had about 25 sata. I passed with 90 questions. The book was very helpful. Hope this helps....................good luck
  2. Giving up is not an option. You can overcome this test. Someone stated in one of the other post that we give to much power to the test. That is so true. I had given all my power to the nclex. I was totally afraid of it. Take your power back. It is man made and it can be defeated. I just did the questions. I did not do the case studies. These books were very helpful in the SATA and priority questions. I had 92 questions. They consisted of SATA, priority and delagation, and meds. I had no math. I also have a great study guide that someone had posted on this site and it was also helpful. I can email you that if you do not have it. Just know that God gives us a spirit of a sound mind and not fear. Trust and believe even when all the odds are against you. Be blessed.
  3. @milnurse08 NEVER GIVE UP....After six years, I had little support left. My biggest support system, which was my mom, passed away last year. I felt devastated and alone. I kept praying because I had too much invested in this. It is truly hurtful to see everyone you went to nursing school with moving on with their lives and you are stuck and can't move beyond this TEST. My pastor told me that if I "FACED IT WITHOUT FEAR GOD WITH GRACE IT". I don't know what your belief is but I really believe in GOD and I posted Bible verses in every room in my house. I constantly read my bible. I could have not did this without God's grace and mercy. My journey is not over. I still have to attend an rn refresher course before I can work as a rn, but I have finally defeated that test. If you would like I can email you other helpful material that helped me also?
  4. I know exactly how you feel. Anxiety was a big problem for me. I did not do any review classes. Maybe I should have. I knew the content, but when I would take the test I would be too nervous. I would be sick to my stomach. The fear of failure was killing me. When I decided that it would not be the end of the world if I failed, I was able to relax and have a positive attitude about it. I had to give myself the mindset of thinking that I could always retest. That thought enable me to release some of the anxiety. If you have not purchased those two books, do so as soon as possible. You can do it. Everyone had given up on me, but GOD FAVORED ME AND HE WILL FAVOR YOU TOO!
  5. I am writing this to encourage anyone who have failed the nclex. I graduated in 2005. I failed the nclex 6 times. Today I found out that I am officially a RN. This has been a long journey ,but I never gave up hope. I have prayed and cried so many days but today God smiled on me. I am a living testimony. Anyone out there struggling with the test............DO NOT GIVE UP! I purchased the Lacharity priority book and the Lippincott's Alternate - Format book. They were very beneficial to me.
