  1. Everyone that has taken it in my class so far has done it and has been 100% correct. Took mine today after all 265 questions I walked right out into the parkinglot and checked. I got the pop up so we shall see on Friday!
  2. yeah they give you those points for your Math, both A&P's and i think that's it. i am almost done with my first semester. I had A's in all sciences and a C in my math. good luck to y'all on getting in!
  3. Pretty sure that's what mine was. They don't look at the score just that you passed it! Congrats!
  4. know fractions, know conversions, know roman numerals, know military time.. thats all i remember on the math part. Know your reading part of the study book. its not that bad but practice the problems in the study guide.. helped me out alot GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
  5. Hello, I have a question for the alumni or current student... what time do we do clinicals? I'm trying to get my daughter into daycare and I have no idea what time clinicals start or end.. can anyone help me out? thanks in advance!!
  6. No problem! when i took it, it only covered the math and reading. good luck!
  7. hesi admission assessment exam review i have the second edition. it helped me out alot. its a light blue and yellow book :) i would make double sure thats what they will be taking tho because i've heard they change tests every few years.
  8. I know you have already found out about the date but just wanted to say that the study guide they sell in the book store is WELL worth it.. especially for the math. It helped me a great deal! PSCC gives a different test that is a little more difficult than the one at roane. just thought i would give you a heads up, i've seen several ppl fail the test because they didnt think those things would be on there! good luck!
  9. awesome thanks for the help! what about shoes? do they not want certain ones?
  10. I have a question about the scrubs.. can we have different colors? or characters? or will they assign us scrubs and we just pay for them? and how are the sizes done? i've never bought scrubs and would have no idea what sizes to get
  11. heard they were taking arond 120 this year.. yeah lots apply!! lol so we are def. lucky! and congrats on getting in!
  12. yes i have heard about the tests where they put multiple answers that they are all very very similar. so they said you really need to know your stuff and the situation well. i'm nervous and excited. thanks for the tips! oh yeah how do clinicals work? i mean we go to class 3 days, do they assign a certain day? or do we do them everyday ? and do they have a summer schedule for nursing or are you just off for those months?
  13. yes! lol well i hope that was the price for all req books! lol or i'm gonna be BROKE. oh well the price we pay is worth it i think.
  14. have you looked at the bundle they have? do you know if that is just for Nursing Fund. or does it include the pharm books too?
  15. I would like to know that as well!! i've heard PHARM is horrible. people have me freakin out over it lol. I just know its gonna take lots of study time!
  16. I think one would be just as good as the other! I also was accepted to roane state for this fall. I think you just need to weigh out the pros and cons of each. which one is closer? I think if you are already comfortable with Pellissippi and enjoy it, then thats where I would go. but like i said just make a list for both. I think if they continued the program there it cant be that bad good luck!
  17. thanks for the advice! i'm just excited and ready to get it going!!!:anpom:
  18. So to everyone already in or have graduated from the program, any advice on what to study before classes start? what do we need to look over and fresh up on? any book suggestions? I want to avoid being overwhelmed as much as possible. even tho i know its going to happen lol just excited and ready to get the ball rolling!
  19. you may be able to get a hospital or doctors office to pay if you sign a contract saying you will work for them for so many years? i have heard of ppl doing that. or you can get a payment plan? or if your going to wait another year to try again you could retake all the classes you had c's in and try and finish all the preq.that could help. dont get discouraged! you all will figure something out! :)
  20. I am planning on going to Oak Ridge
