I am graduating in May and I have my first interview (ever) this Thursday. It is for an Emergency Department Fellowship at a Level I Trauma Hospital. My absolute DREAM JOB! I have no experience working as a tech, but I did complete my final preceptorship in a medical ICU. I really need advice on pretty much everything. What to wear? I bought a suit and was planning on wearing it with a button down long sleeve shirt underneath, but I may die of heat exhaustion before I even get to the interview lol. How to prepare? I did a mock interview with one of my instructors and she said I did well, but I am still really nervous. What to bring? They told me to bring a copy of my resume and references and "anything else that would help them to get to know me." What does that mean? I also have 3 letters of recommendation I am bringing. How to wear my hair? I have long hair and was planning on just wearing it pulled back in a pony tail. Is that acceptable? What questions to ask? I know that you are always supposed to have questions to ask when they as if we have any. However, I don't want to come across as "picky" or that I might not really want the job. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some good advice! It is a group interview, which makes me even more nervous. If I don't get this job, I don't know what I will do because I've applied over 30 places and this is the only interview I've gotten. Thanks in advance for your advice! :)
