  1. the standard is not any higher, as far as i understand the % of the kind of questions from the different categories has changed. i definitely didn't study anyting extra. i was supposed to take the exam b4 it changed, but took it in April instead. and i studied the same. honestly, i did the Kaplan question trainers, i forced myself to sit through 200+ questions per day for about a week and a half. and then just review the rationalles each day. o and know your Lab values, and infection control measures.
  2. Hey pinkpaperdoll, i hope the studying is going well, i just wanted to pop in and wish you the best of luck. i just found out that i passed and im uber excited and can't sleep, even after the loongest weekend of my life! it was nervewracking to wait for the results. But i tried the pearson vue trick that everyone has been talking about, and it worked for me. it did not let me register for another exam, and i kept checking every hour, on the hour for the past 45 hours or so, but today the quick results finally came in. anyway, i divulge, im sorry im just very excited. and from the bottom of my heart i wish you the best of luck. have fait in your knowlede, stay calm, and until the day of teh exam, keep doing questions! Best of luck!
  3. I had no audio or diagram questions, there were plenty of infection control and "which pt would you see first" questions. i'll definitely let you know if i passed, check back with me on the 13th. but in the mean time keep doing questions, that's all i can tell you, best of luck.
  4. it was rough, i still feel defeated, anytime i close my eyes i see teh questions before me . i had no diagrams or audio actually. i think i had about 3-4 SATA's, medications, infection control and "which pt should the nurse see first" questions. very little peds or ob questions.
  5. So did you pass? i just took mine and had only 75 questions, i feel really insecure. im a nervous wreck, there's no definite way of telling whether you did so well tehy don't let you go on, or you did so poorly theat they don't want you to move on.
