  1. CNA programs in Austin area

    back2txfuturenurse posted a topic in Texas Nursing
    I'm moving to austin in May to begin re-establishing residency in Texas and am working toward applying to a program at UT down the road. In the mean time, I am looking at taking a CNA course and working as a CNA in Austin. Do you have any recommendations of places to get certified (currently I'm looking in to Buckner, Nurse Aide Training Austin, Westminster Manor, & Austin CC Eastview Campus)? I am not very familiar with austin outside of the downtown area, so I don't know if these are in good locations or not. Also, are the hospitals around town hiring CNA's? Thanks in advance for any feedback!!
