Your message helps me to recovered :(after i failed and took for the 2nd time last week I am very much prepared for the 2nd time The questions are all straight forward like mosbys. A lot of Calculations and SATA The questions hit me hard is in Pharma a lot of them. I encountered few questions in psych that eats most of my time i cant select the best correct answer even i did the eliminations in every questions. Most of the questions still playing in my mind and i ended up checking for the answers. Plan to take the Kaplan online and study the Pharma and Prioritizing and Delegations. To those that failed for the 2nd time Cheer up and dont give up study and study :saint:and I know we have that word LPN next to our names . And also to those that is ready to take thier NCLEX exam Good luck and dont panicked after 85 questions happened to me on my ist attempt hehehe.Take your time dont let your score go down to the gray line.

Thank you for your help and taking the time to write back about my post. I figured that maybe a Filipino RN that took the RN classes here in the states could help because of the confusion with the language and the choices available. It seemed that all the second language students in her class were all having the same problem with the multiple choice qustions and choosing the right answer when all seemed correct. We bought the NCLEX book and cd and this has helped her put tremendously although she still goes through those times. I had to try to help anyway I could because I saw how upset and frustrated she was and all the responses we recieved suggested the same help and I greatly appreciate that.Thanks again for your assistance with my problem.

We did buy the book and cd and this has helped her out tremendously although there are times when she still gets confused because trying to select the best of all the answers and she second guesses her selection. She was so frustrated and upset and there was nothing I could really do so I posted my message asking for help and you've all gave me the same advice so that is what she'll follow.She feels more confident and comfortable in making the choices now, I just think because she was new to this type of questioning, she got really confused but with support and help, she's doing fine now. Thank you for writing and responding to my post. She had trouble in trying to choose the correct answer for the multiple chioce questions because all the answers seemed correct. We did get the book & cd and it helped her out tremendously but she still has her "shaky" times. She feels more confident now in going through the answers and picking out the best of the choices and is understanding the thinking process she must use in order to do so. It was frustrating for me because of how she was struggling and how upset she was and there was nothing I could do for her, but buying the book and her study group helped out also. Thank you again for your advice and taking the time to write and your advice was the solution.

Trying to find a Filipino RN who would offer some help for my wife currently going to school for nursing. She has no idea I'm doing this but I need to help her any way I can. She's experiencing difficulties understanding the reasoning with regards to multiple choice questions as to why certain answers are the correct ones when all seem to be correct. When I saw how upset she was after all her studying, I had to do something. I'm trying this with the hopes that she may be able to talk with someone who has gone through all this and can better explain to her to help her understand. I'm just trying to help her achive her life long dream of being a RN and anyone who may offer help will be greatly appreciated.
