  1. To JGCADET: Your right about having the hands on portion done. The AHA ( American Heart Association ) BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR Online course is not all online. You may be confused with the other online courses that you complete the course online, and you then print your card. Those cards are NOT accepted by hospitals and nursing schools. However the AHA BLS online course is 90 % Online and 10 % hands on. The course completion card through the AHA is the same card you would receive if you attended a traditional course. 2. As an American Heart Association training site, the BLS for Healthcare Providers online course is recognized by your employer. The online course is equal to the "course video". Once you complete the online course, you would have to come down to the training site to complete the skills portion. Once both parts are complete , you will receive your AHA course completion card. Just wanted to put my 2 cents in !!
