  1. to join or not to join??

    I am graduating in 3 weeks with my BSN and am seriously considering joining the army as an officer. My husband is active duty army for 10+ years. We have a 3 year old daughter and while I have a family care plan in place, I am very concerned about how much nurses really deploy. I know it's different for them, but I have a bad taste in my mouth with deployments, as my husband is on his 3rd year long deployment in 5 years. I am 23 years old and a prime candidate for this, but have some reservations about it. Can anyone give me HONEST, educated answers?? I prefer to talk to someone who has no agenda, like an AMEDD recruiter would.
