Everythning should be based on reason, situation, and humanity. If this cop would be reasonable so he would be listen, assess the situation, and made a right reasonable desicion, such as waiting wor the cab or one of my friends arrived to pick me up, that what I would do. Is it sound familiar in nursing when we are making desicion about patient care?

Thanks for your support! I feel totally devastated, 'cause it's never happened before, and I've never been arrested for anything and especially for abusing alcohol neither used any drugs, as I said, have been drinking socially like civilized people. So i dont need "lessons" from peers - how bad alcohol is, cause I passed the legal age long time ago and alcohol is a legal product. Everything is good as long it's legal and in moderation. So if somebody wants to teach me, please keep it to yourself. Anyway, thank you so much for your kind words.

Recently, I was arrested for dui in florida, was in the car in the parking lot in front of a restaurant with attempt to call friend to pick me up, wasn't even driving. What I should do about Florida BON, I have a lawyer for DUI, not for the board, and how it may affect my license renewal? Please, if possible for you guys, don't dive me advice about drinking habbits, I am drinking socially like a lot of people do,never drunk and drive and I am 45 years old and have been practicing nursing for more than 2o years, so nursingt is my life. So, please if anyone had similar experience, i would like the practical advice. Thank you so much in advance.
