  1. I think you can believe it. I can't log in at all, so I'm sure I'm rejected again. Congrats to all who are accepted!!
  2. I know I have a B#, it was listed at the bottom of my rejection letter from summer haha.
  3. I haven't heard anything yet, and I'm still unable to create a BlazerID. Truly, I am anticipating being rejected again. I recently started a new position as ANM in our ED, and am thinking leadership may be a better path for me to pursue anyway.
  4. Haven't been told per se, but the turnaround time was right at six weeks for fall.
  5. What is everyone else's experience? 4 years ED/trauma with 2 years of endoscopy sprinkled in here. Some of my coworkers who put FNP first and AGACNP second got their second choice and think it was because their experience was geared more toward that.
  6. I'm estimating beginning of April, since it took about 6 weeks last time.
  7. I applied to AGACNP with a second choice of FNP.
  8. @Chris_CV,BSN to tell you the truth, we moved and I lost my letter lol. I had the school send me a new form to request to change my application term and just submitted that with a new essay via fax. However, I do know a girl who was rejected only because her essay wasn't formatted correctly, so I am hoping that was my only error, as well!
  9. Was just looking back, I believe the application deadline for Summer was Oct 15, and my decision letter is dated Dec 1. I applied SUPER early for summer, and the wait seemed forever! I waited until the absolute last minute this time, so maybe it won't seem so long lol.
  10. I don't know my GPA exactly, just that it was high enough to not need the GRE. I've been a nurse for 6 years, 2 in endoscopy and 4 in ER/trauma. Honestly I can't even remember what all else they look at, lol. I know my essay had some APA mistakes last time. I had a friend who is a current student there help me this time to make sure everything is perfect as far as that goes, as we do know that people have been rejected based only on that in the past.
  11. Hi! I applied back in the fall for summer admission, and I do believe we found out about 6 weeks after the deadline. Maybe even a little sooner. I wasn't accepted at that time, but I've reapplied for fall admission and rewritten my essay. Not getting my hopes up, but we'll see!
  12. I still can't create one. Thinking I'm out. Congrats to everyone who is in!!
  13. Congrats!!! I still can't. I will be constantly checking today!!! Remind me which program you applied to?
  14. Not me either. Please believe I will update here immediately if I'm ever able to!!
  15. Not me either. Please believe I will update here immediately if I'm ever able to!!
  16. Haha I'm just glad I'm not the only crazy person checking daily!!! í ½í¸‚
  17. Not yet. In past threads, it seems people were able to start creating accounts around Thanksgiving. í ½í¸¬
  18. What advice did they give you? If I don't get accepted to UAB, I intend to reapply to UAB for Fall and apply to USA as well.
  19. Well, I just got my rejection email from Georgia Southwestern. I'm not really surprised because they take such a small class and don't require an essay or interview, which is where I really Shine compared to my overall GPA. Still stings though. So now I'm super anxious to hear from UAB!! I know we still have at least a month of waiting, though. Anyone else been through a rejection? I'm self-medicating with a margarita. í ½í¸Ž
  20. I am in Georgia and I have several coworkers in the program. I don't think it matters where you live. Good luck!
  21. Kind of update? I called today to update my application to include a second choice track (I only applied for FNP initially, and now I'm waffling on what I want to do). She said she would update my application to reflect that - which indicates to me that they do NOT process applications as they come in, since mine was submitted about a month ago. I would think if it's already been reviewed, I wouldn't be able to make changes. I bet they will begin reviewing them after the deadline next week. Good luck to all! The wait is getting shorter haha.
  22. I agree!! I was looking at their application last night, and I chose not to apply based solely on the transcript entry. Feels like "double charting" to me. Ain't nobody got time for that.
  23. I wish we could find out sooner!! But it makes sense that they wait until the deadline to make official decisions. I also applied to Georgia Southwestern and to Walden. I got accepted to Walden, as I gather pretty much everyone does. I really prefer to attend a brick and mortar school, though, so I hope I get into UAB or GSW. UAB is my first choice, but I'd be perfectly happy with GSW as well.
  24. I like it fine, but it's also the only hospital I've ever worked in, so I have nothing to compare it to. And yes, I think you're correct that you will hear positives and negatives about any place. What track did you apply for? FNP or AGACNP? Or something else? Just figured with your experience it would be one of those two. Forgive me if you've already said.
  25. I'm not sure about my GPA. I know my last 60 hours was all As and Bs but I'm too lazy to calculate haha. Been an RN for five years, three and a half in ER with a1.5 year stint in endoscopy. Hey Grady, I work at Kennestone! ☺️
