I got in and just went to my orientation at Stony Brook. They accepted all of my credits with no problem from WGU. I think you will be fine as Stony Brook's NP programs are competitive to get into. One of my coworkers is currently doing the MSN at WGU and is happy with the program.

Thanks.. Goodl luck to you also. I still have not gotten anything in the mail yet and they told me monday that it was sent out... It's torture.. Did you also apply for the Neonatal NP or another NP.. Quick question: Did you send a formal resume in with your application?

I broke down and called and they said a decision had been made on my application and it was being mailed out... They wouldn't even give me a hint though over the phone.. Soo now I wait..

I called two weeks ago and asked and they sent an email saying they were expecting to mail decision's the following week (which would have been the week of the 22nd), but I never got anything and last week they were on spring break so maybe i'll here this week?

I just completed my BSN from Western Governors (I had my associate degree), and was very happy with the program. The mentors and teachers were great and the classes were interesting. I just applied to a NNP program at Suny stony Brook and am waiting to hear if I got accepted. I will admit I am a bit nervous about not having a GPA assigned to me as they stated they required a 3.0 to get into the NNP program but I am hoping my 3.8 from my associates will help. P.S. J. Rossi I enjoyed your informatics class:)

I'm waiting to hear if I got accepted in the NNP program at Suny Stony Brook University. Is any one else waiting to hear. I'm getting a bit freaked out that I haven't heard anything and it's April 1st and the program starts in the summer 2010.
