  5. I was not able to start my own post, and posted here because you guys seem like you are in the nursing field to give advice
  6. I just have a question. I am currently in nursing school and this is only my 3rd week into it. I love the idea of helping people and find the medical field exremely interesting. The more I read about it the more nervous I get. I am a very shy person, and worry that I will not have very good communication skills. Can I be a nurse and be shy, and can anyone give me any advice about communicating plus getting over my shyness. Or do you think I may be in the wrong field? Thanks
  7. The classes that you take in January 2011 will not count towards your classes for calculation for the 2011 application. Just try to take as many as the higher credit classes as much as you can handle. Try not to overload yourself ,because if you can get a good gpa then even if you are missing some classes and do decent on the hesi you should be fine. that is what I did, i knew i wanted to get good grades so I just took what i knew I could handle. I have seen so many people try to take so many classes at once but then not end up getting that good of a grade so they did not get in.
  8. The score that people got into the program this year was 86 and above. It all depends on what your gpa was, how many credit you have gotten done out of the 30, and what hesi score was. The conversions are on the sc4 website. I had a 87 on the hesi and a 3.97 gpa, and all but 2 classes done, which i am taking this semester. yes a & p was on the hesi. Good luck!
  9. Thank you very much!! It is very exciting!! I am so nervous. Is there any tips that you have for making things easier. Just trying to prepare myself for the program as best as possible. Thanks again!!
  10. I also got in to the SC4 nursing program for 2010!! Glad to finally know, it's been a long few months of waiting! I am excited also, but am soooo nervous for it all!!
