  1. Where I work the nurses can only administer Cytotec orally (which we hardly ever do). The MDs do the lady partsl Cytotec, which seems to be the preferred method.
  2. Radford University in Radford, Va and Old Dominion University in Norfolk have both signed collaborative agreements with Shenandoah University. One takes the core MSN classes at the state school and then takes the midwifery classes at Shenandoah. You end up with a MSN from the state school and a certificate in nurse midwifery from Shenandoah. Supposedly UVa is going to sign an agreement to do the same. This "option" is new, as of this fall for Radford, more recent for ODU. I'm currently in the Radford program and expect to finish my core classes this summer and start at Shenandoah in the fall.
