  1. Hi Ilstudentnurse, I DID make it into the program! LOL! Glad you made it as well. Congrat's to you!!!! I'll see you there! Registration next week!!! Yeah boyyyyy!!!!!
  2. I'm sorry you didn't make it. Just remember that when it's your time, you'll be in the program. Everything happens for a reason. Keep pushing and don't give up. Thanks for keeping in touch with me while we both waited. I wish you all the best of luck!
  3. Don't sound so blah....stay prayerful. I don't know what her score was. Let me know when you hear something. I'm praying for you.
  4. One of my old classmates received her acceptance letter today. I don't know anyone else who may have got in or not.
  5. I received the certified notice yesterday in my mail box but wasn't able to get the letter until this morning. I am soooo happy! I will keep praying for you! Keep me posted!
  6. I'm in!!!! I'm in!!! I did it!!!
  7. The letters were mailed out yesterday!!!!
  8. I could be wrong about the Hesi. You know they tell you one thing but probably sit around at a big round table and chose who they want anyway. LOL. I broke down and called to ask if the letters had been sent out but couldn't get a hold of anyone. Guess it wasn't meant for me to know right now. lol. but if I call back later, I'll let you know.
  9. I think they base things just on the points alone. HESI just shows how well you can do plus gives u the extra points for the ranking points. It's 4/28 and still nothing in the mail. I was contemplating calling the school to see if they've sent any acceptance/denial letters out yet. I guess I'll be patient. Lol. How've you been?
  10. Yeah, the only points that can be added for the hesi are either the 5 or 10 points depending on your score. If you were really low you could even LOSE points . Ms.Dean said they should be mailed out by the end of April but no later than the first week in May. Don't worry. Just let it go. It's out of our hands. All we can do is wait. I am so tempted to call the school and ask if they know for sure EXACTLY when they plan to mail them out. Every day when I go home, I look for one of those "we missed you" stickers from the post man. Idk. We'll see. I'll keep you posted. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  11. I attended the evening orientation. I re-calculated my total rank score is 126. You should re-check because if I'm not mistaking the highest you can get is 156; that's including 10 max points for the hesi and 10 points for in-district. I'm nervous too. You must have gotten all A's to get such a high score. Good Job! I hope we pulled it off. I would hate to have to wait another year to reapply but whatever God's Will, will be done. Good luck again! Let me know if you made it. Oh, yes, I have taken ALL prereq's and gen ed classes. What about you?
  12. No. 83% is my over all score for all four sections of the HESI. According to the info given to us during the orientation if you scored I think 80-84% is 5 extra ranking points and higher than 84% is an additional 10 ranking points. Adding up all of my ranking points I have a total of 130 (I think.lol). What's your rank? Did you attend orientation?
  13. I'm applying at PSC. I received 5 extra points for the score I received. I think 90 and above would have been 10 extra points. You applied at Prairie State as well?
  14. An 88! Thats great!!! I only received a 83 but finished all my pre-req's and general ed courses with mostly A's and some B's so hopefully that will get me in the program this fall. Good luck to you and hope to see you this fall in the program!
  15. nique 281, how did you do on the hesi exam?
