  1. If you have a position that requires you to be "on call" after your regular shift and you have to stay late (into your on call time) how are you paid? This is the situation...My regular hours are 7am to 3:30pm, however, every 3rd week I am "on call" from 3:30pm to 7:00am. Some times cases go late when I am on call and I have to stay past 3:30. Currently I am only paid my regular rate for that unless I leave and come back then the "call back" rate of pay is time and a-half. I am wondering how others are paid in this situation because I am thinking about filing a grievance with our union. I think we should be paid time and a half for any work being done during "on call" hours.
