  1. ECC Buffalo RN Program? Competitive?

    Hi there, I'm looking to apply to ECC (erie community college) in Buffalo for fall 2010. i tried to apply for the RN program at NCCC but was told they are not accepting new applicants for their nursing program until a date which has not been determined. however, i was concerned because I have been told that actually getting in to the program itself at ECC (not pre-nursing) can take forever, and is very competitive. Has anyone out there sucessfully gotten into the nursing program itself, and if so, could you give me a timeline on what it's like? I'm an adult student so I'd like to get out of there within the 2 years for the associates degree - is that possible? Thanks for any advice!
