  1. Not yet. I would be open to trying that, just to get some sort of experience. I've just been told to be careful when it comes to what LTC job I take.
  2. Hello all. I graduated in August... passed boards on my 2nd try and became licensed RN in December. After about a hundred applications at many hospitals, I have only recieved one interview. That interview came and went in early February. It seemed to go very well, and I followed up with a thank you letter and a couple phonecalls to show my interest.... but no news ever came of it. I think I only really got an interview at all b/c a friend of the family works on that floor and brought my name to the surface. Everytime I apply for a job I seem to get automated rejection letters via email saying they are pursuing other candidates at this time. If i don't get an immediate rejection letter, I follow up with a call... but I always get some sort of runaround. I have had no luck whatsoever and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I only have my BLS, but have scheduled my ACLS for April in hopes that it will help me land a job. Anyone know somewhere hiring in the Jacksonville area?? I am more than willing to move, preferably not too far, maybe the orlando/daytona area?? All in all it has been extremely frustrating/depressing. Im trying to remain patient/hopeful... I am just very eager get the show on the road :)
