PSYCH NP at UF
I'm in brevard and its 2 hours to JAX. I was going to apply to UNC-CH, but my husband retired from the military. They have a program close to UF. A lot of research assistant opportunities. Let me know if you hear anything else. Thanks

PSYCH NP at UF
WOW! What will those people who work do? They tried to do that last year. Do you know if it is difficult to get in the program? I have yet to take the GRE. I had been looking at USF, but they do not offer the group/individual therapy didactic.

PSYCH NP at UF
I'm thinking of applying to UF's PSYCH-NP program. Looking for info re: clinicals, hours, the overall program. Attended UNC-W, but had to relocate.

Moving to cocoa
We have a lot to build a home on. I noticed that things were kind of high. But we come from a place that thrives on the military. Of all places in NC that is suppose to have a low cost of living. Since there is no competition retail wise you have to pay the price especially when they only have one cable company. There doesn't seem to be anything but nursing agencies. Our builder says that things are beginning to slow down now. They are running out of room basically.

?How to Get A Job With the VA?
Who would have thought this would be that long of a process. I would almost assume with more vets coming back from Iraq that the system will be flooded and the amount of nurses to increase. I am currently working with a contract with the marine corps and we are busy my case load gets longer by the week and I am constantly referring to the VA. Thanks for the info guys.

I'm a psych nurse-BSN moving to Cocoa real soon. I did some liason work in the hospital with commitments and some outpatient/ inpatient stuff. I'm not finding it anywhere in Brevard county. Any idea of hospitals, clinics, etc... Any info you have will do.

?How to Get A Job With the VA?
The VA called for an interview my interview was almost three weeks ago! They told me either way they would let me know. No returned phone calls from the interviewers. The receptionist said that they have not decided yet. Does anyone know this process, it's much different from what I'm used to.
