  1. I used Lippincott the first time I took the test and answered 265 questions but failed(I guess I was not really serious that time.) The second time... I' ve read the saunders 4th edition from cover to cover and answered the test questions at the end of each chapter. I practiced answering the CD for the last 2 weeks ( about 100- 200 questions each day)before taking the exams and thank GOD I passed. I' ve got a tip from this websites that answering nclex question is like practicing how to take blood pressure, the more practice you do the more you will get the correct blood pressure, just like in answering the test, the more you practice answering questions the more you will be confident in getting the right answer... I hope this help...
  2. Hello everyone... I just want to share my happiness to all of you coz finally Im now an RN. The first attempt was 2 years back and I got 265 questions and it was really painful for me. It took me more than 2 years to face it again and at last I passed..:) this time the computer stopped at around 195-199th question. I got so many SATA's, so many infection control questions and whom you call back first question, no computations.. (as far as I can remember) I just want to thank all of you for posting your expiriences and to be honest, I got lots of tips from this websites. BTW, I have read saunders 4th edition and just practiced with the lots of questions with the CD provided. Again, thanks to all of you.. and for those who will take the exam, just FOCUS and always pray...
  3. hi everyone.. presently I am working in one of the government hospital here in Dubai.. of course in every place there are ups and downs... workwise, well... the equipments will really make your work easy.. so many filipino nurses that you will feel as if you re just working in our own country, salary is good but just make sure you will not be tempted by these credit cards or otherwise your salary will just be thrown in them. We usually have multinational patients..indians and pakistanis and chinese(some of them dont know even a single english), canadian, american, british, thailander..etc etc... But we are having difficulty with the local people because most of them feel that they should the priority. I was hired in the Philippines 4 yrs ago and we were I think more than 300 nurses who came here batch by batch. We were not asked to take any of the tests that was mentioned above. They only honored our PRC license and asking for the renewed one if it expires.
  4. Thanks to all of you... God bless us all!
