Hi stlives, I cant wait for the nursing camp to meet everybody, and find out about the program. I am taking some online courses this summer. But I am soo ready for the LVN program in August! Ready to get busy. Hope your summer is going great!

I also applied in March and got in my first time. I took the RN pre reqs because I had also applied to a RN program and didnt get in so I applied to LVN at Navarro and I got in! I had also taken some DMAT classes and that seemed to help with the Accuplacer because I passed the first time. Lol. I am glad that I heard also of someone else getting in also! I will be at the Waxahachie campus for the program but it would be nice to kind of know someone the first day of nurse camp at Corsicana. Congrats and Good LUck!

I dont know what it is like yet, but I got my acceptance letter in the mail today from Navarro LVN!

Yeah I will! I am glad to see another person on here applying there. I am waiting on my letter saying acceptance or alternate but checked the mail today and still no word? The lady at the school did tell me the backgraound checks were taking longer than usual so I guess thats what is taking the longest.

I am applying for the LVN program this year at Navarro College. I didnt make the cut at Brookhaven college for the RN this year so I decided on LVN for now. If you dont mind me asking what is the average pay for LVN's? I noticed on careerbuilder and other job postings they dont discuss pay? I was just curious as to how much the pay is. Thanks for your help!

I turned in my app for the second time this app period and will apply with 30.11. Hope that it is enough! If not I think I will be doing the LVN program at Navarro.
