Hello, I am an RN working on my BSN. My assignment is to interview in person or via email a nurse educator. I am not sure I will be able to catch up with the nurse educator at work today - its Monday in the ER - no time! If anyone could answer the following ?'s for me that would be great? How long have you been a nurse? How long have you been in the nurse educator role? What is your educational background? What do you like best about your job? What are of nursing do you currently work (ED, NICU, L&D, etc.)? Have you always done this? What led you to the nurse educator role? What led you to nursing? Was there someone/something in your life that influenced your decision to be a nurse/nurse educator? Do you mostly educate staff or patients? Is teaching one of your passions?
