  1. Hey guys- I'm almost done with my 3rd term in my BSN Nursing program. I found an advanced phlebotomy course for healthcare professionals at my local community college. I've never worked at a hospital and the only exprience I have is from my clinical rotations. I know how to start IVs but I've never started one on a real person. I was thinking that maybe this course would be beneficial since I've got very little experience with IVs and it might look good to have a phlebotomy certification on my resume when I go to apply for RN jobs. Do you think that this would be at all beneficial for a BSN student, or do you think I should just rely on gaining experience over time? Thanks!
