she was taking classes this semester, so was i. so she's still waiting to hear back. she applied to the ft myers campus too. so i have my fingers crossed for her and all of you!! :) shes going to meet with a counselor today to get an answer and then call me. when i found out my status was conditionally accepted when i first applied in april, i just emailed an advisor and they were able to tell me. if you are told that you are conditionally accpeted then you should be getting in the fall semester. as soon as i hear back from her, i will repost! i hope you guys hear back soon! and nsu is veeerrry unorganized. a few weeks back i got a letter saying i was denied entrance bc of missing classes, and then i called and had to send another transcript saying my classes were in progress (i took sociology and chem this summer) and they changed my status back to pending and then i got the acceptance email last week. so now im in the process of sending my grades in from this summer and paying all the money to hold my seat. my suggestion, just keep calling and emailing!!!

i applied late...like the end of april i think. and my GPA is a 3.1 right now, but its going up since i just finished summer classes. i applied to the ft myers location.

I got my acceptance email last week! im so excited. i know a friend of mine who is conditionally accepted but she hasnt gotten her acceptance yet, so i dont know what that means. we applied at the same time. so hopefully she'll hear back from NSU soon! it sucks how long we all have to wait to hear back from anyone! i just kept emailing and calling! I paid the $500 to keep my seat so now all i have to do is wait til Aug 31st! i hope everyone hears back from them soon! i hate how they keep everyone waiting. a friend of mine waited since jan to hear a decision! good luck to everyone!

i emailed one of the advisors and he told me that im conditionally accepted into the ft myers campus!!!! i am sooo excited! as long as i maintain my GPA and do well in my summer classes i start aug 24 with the fall class!!!!! good luck to the rest of you!!!!

i went and met with some one at the ft myers campus and he said that i could email him a copy of my unofficial transcripts jjust to get the ball rolling. he also said that they pushed the deadline back to july 15th so that people could get their final grades in from summer classes (like me. ) my GPA so far is only a 3.0, and after these summer classes i am hoping that it will go up a little more. but i emailed them a copy of my unofifical just so they have something to look at. he also said, they could offer me a conditional acceptance, so long as i get good grades in my summer classes, i could start in the fall. but for now, its a waiting game...i was told that acceptance letters will go out around june 1st for ft myers. not sure if its the same for the other campuses. good luck to everyone! sounds like we're all the same boat!!! its frustrating!

what campus are the majority of people applying to? i applied to ft myers and i know they are only taking 40 students! :/ but ft lauderdale is taking more..

the same thing happened to me with sociology. i took it so long ago and didnt do good in it. im retaking it this summer and then im going to send my transcripts in again. i sent nova my transcripts for last semester, and im going to resend them after this semester and then again after i take sociology and chem in the summer... got my fingers crossed they'll allow it...

edison state college, they have a few campuses. i applied for the lee county and collier county campus. they only take 24 students into each program on each campus. it's really competitive. :/ i took all the pre reqs and my gpa isnt the greatest... its a 2.94...so im taking summer classes to boost it up. im thinking about going to lorenzo walker for my lpn if i dont get into nova so i can at least start nursing in some form. ive been waiting for so long to get into a program! its so frustrating!!!!

i applied into edison and didnt get accepted, so im was rushing to get all my transcripts together to send to nova. and bc i dont have my associates i need them from my high school, college i went to in nj and edison. its such a pain in the butt!!!

i just applied into the program at nova. i applied at edison state and didnt get in. any other nursing programs that i should apply to? i moved here from nj about a year ago and kind of banked on getting into edisons program and i didnt. so any tips on good nursing schools would be great! my gpa is only a 3.0, im taking summer classes at edison to bring it up....

I recently applied to the Fall 2010 program. I just sent in the application and just sent away for my transcripts to be sent. Like a dummy, i applied into the summer edison program only and now and scrambling to get into another nursing program. Is the entry level program at Nova a good program? I havent heard much about it. a few of my friends were trying to get in there, but other than that, i havent heard much, good or bad, about it. my gpa isnt the greatest. its a 3.0 as of now. im at edison taking summer classes to boost it up and to finish up chem and sociology so i will get accepted into the fall program at nova.
