  1. Hi! I am so sorry about your experience, and yes, you can always take your failing grade above that clinical instructors head. Take your papers, and everything you have ever turned in to the administrator and ask for an appeal. It is a very long, detailed process but they have to put your case in for review. This happened to one of my friends in nursing school, and the decision was reversed! Sometimes instructors have to fail someone in order to seem as if they are doing their job, sad news if you are that student. But, I would definately take it to the dean if you have to!! Especially since she did not write you up or provide written evidence that you were unsafe. Good Luck!
  2. Hello my fellow nurses! I am new to all Nurses as well as my city, Tampa, FL. I am a young RN, I also have an MSN/MHA. I have worked in PICU, CICU and MICU and also in public health for the last 1.5 yrs. My husband and I have moved around quite a bit, due to his job... so my resume is a bit broken up. I really want to go back to clinical care, preferably ante/post partum, L&D or NICU, but am having the hardest time!!! I have also applied for other positions and haven't even been called for them? I am so concerned that I have ruined my career by going into public health????!!!! Please help!!! Any advice??
